Have fun with fat tire electric bike

What do you do for working out after you retire? Assuming you are in your early seventies, your matching bikes are hanging up in your garage, possibly never to be used again. You miss the biking and now that you have time, you and your partner can’t get the energy to bike up and down the hills all day. If only there was a way you can enjoy the lovely summer days, the ride in the park, the picnic break in the middle and the leisurely ride back home.

Enter the fat tire electric bike. From a distance, most people would not identify this bike as electric, but if you try this one, you will be up for a surprise.

I selected an ebike for hunting that makes it simpler for me to mount the bike and reach the ground when mounted. Other features that I like are the all steel frame for strength, the double wall aluminum wheels, the twin front shock absorbers and a back rack that is part of the frame and the single speed chain for effortless riding.

There are some cautions that you should be aware of. Tire pressure is important and should be at least 32 to 40 pounds. Carrying a plastic rain covering and a bottle of water is a great idea. Keep an eye for deep pot holes and I don’t suggest going on a rough bike trail through the woods. The battery will recharge in four hours and automatically turns off when charged. The ride is quite convenient due to fat tires, heavy aluminum rims, front dual shock absorbers and a wide leather spring seat. An erect posture with a cruiser swept back handle bar enables for a convenient ride all day.  You will reach your home rested, well exercised and looking forward for your next tour.
